The Peace Quaternity is two short stories and two poems about war and peace, hate and love, racism and humaneness, denial and self-awareness, "other" and Self, and the idea that there really is no other and no enemy.

ALL PROCEEDS FROM The Peace Quaternity WILL GO TO CHARITY FOREVER. Proceeds will be split 50/50 between charities supporting veterans and charities promoting peace. My dream is a world disarming and demilitarizing. In the meantime, I support all veterans and their families, and I am grateful for their incredible bravery and sacrifice. I am against leaders who put our brave men and women in harm’s way for their own agendas.

The charities may change over time. The current charities are Semper Fi & America’s Fund and The Carnegie Foundation for International Peace. Thank you for your consideration.

The short story Lily was inspired by the book Strongmen, by Ruth Ben-Ghiat. The short story Bapu was inspired by The Life of Mahatma Gandhi, by Louis Fischer. Both stories were also inspired by A Farewell to Arms, by Ernest Hemingway, among other fiction and non-fiction written works and films. I am indebted to the authors and all involved in the making of the films.
